Change Hostname

It is not possible to change the OS hostname which was defined during the VM order process in the portal.

This restriction is due to the management systems where the VM is registered with its original OS hostname.

This is an information message

Warning

You should never try to change the hostname on the OS level!

If you change the hostname manually within the OS, the compliance check will fail as soon as you try to switch back to the Full Managed state.
