Technical Contact
Every Managed OS VM should have a Technical Contact assigned. A Technical Contact consists of a phone number and an email address. Ideally these should be on-call phone numbers and group mailboxes. During the VM ordering process the customer can enter the contact data or choose from a dropdown which contains the already entered Technical Contacts. Later the customer can view and update the Technical Contacts with the action Show and Update Technical Contact available on the Managed OS VM. Updating Technical Contact is possible in every state of the VM (from FullManaged to Temp Admin state*).
Technical Contacts are used if Swisscom operations teams need to contact the customer in case of maintenance work or while processing incidents.
