Q: How often will the HW stack be patched?

A: The PCA and the ZFSA will be patched at least once a year (typically in the 1st quarter). Security patches will be installed installed according their criticality. If required and/or recommended by the Oracle support (e.g. because of know bugs) the ZFSSA will be patched also outside the yearly patch window.

Q: What Oracle releases are available on the MODS Regular platform?

A: MODS Regular supports Oracle 19c and newer. See Oracle Releases for details.

Q: How often are existing deployments patched?

A: Existing deployments (VM, CDB, PDB) will be patched on service request only. We provide the latest Release Update (RU) per major release for CDB update actions. Emergency security patches can be installed without the explicit consent of the customer. Nevertheless: customers will be informed as early as possible.
