Edit Container Database CDB

Pls. reference the API documentation for the detailed specification of the available CDB resource actions.

In the vRA UI select Edit CDB from the CDB Actions dropdown list.

Edit CDB includes the following actions to be executed on a Container Database environment:

• Plan: change plan - only BASIC to ADVANCED is allowed

  Change the plan from BASIC to ADVANCED and modify the number of vCPUs requires a restart of the VM / database. Therefore, all related PDBs are affected.

• Plan Mode: change plan mode - only available for ADVANCED Container Database provisioning

• Name: change CDB friendly name

• vCPUs: change number of vCPUs - ADVANCED: both nodes are affected

• Database Backup: enable/disable Container Database CDB backup
