Managed OS RHEL & Windows v2:
- Issue with the time zone settings for patching windows in Swisscom Managed RHEL/Windows v2 VMs:

In our upcoming release 30.05.24, we'll address this issue by implementing a fix that will ensure all newly provisioned VMs use UTC for their patching windows. In addition, any changes made to patching windows will automatically apply the correct UTC timezone.
- Following the next release, we'll be rolling out updates to change the time zone settings of all existing Swisscom Managed OS VMs to UTC to improve consistency with documentation.

- Uplink Topology in XaaS services:
- We are happy to announce that we are in the process of removing "Uplink Topology" parameter from the input list of every Catalog item, where this was configured: "Uplink Topology" doesn't need to be specified as input parameter anymore, because it is automatically retrieved from the Business Group input parameter.
- Impact:

IPAM Migration for File Services and Kubernetes
In release v121, we announced that Managed Oracle Database Services (MODS High End, MODS regular) were being integrated into the IP address management (IPAM) solution of the Enterprise Service Cloud.
In this release (v124), the blueprints of the following services are also being covered with the IPAM integration including integration/migration of all existing instances to allow smooth transition:
- Enterprise Kubernetes
- File Service Premium
For existing service instances, we are going to migrate the currently used IP ranges into the IPAM management. This migration will be done by Swisscom. In case of any issues (e.g. overlapping IP ranges) the Swisscom support team will contact you to resolve the appearing conflict.
IPAM - New Blueprint:
Under Catalog you will find the new blueprint in the Network Services category.
- Show Service Network Usage: It is now possible to display which IP addresses are currently unassigned and can be used for new deployments. This functionality is mainly relevant for customers working with static IP address assignments. Please note: Affiliation of IP addresses to IP aggregates need to be considered.
For IPAM and Kubernetes:
- New Dynamic Mask Handling based on selected aggregate: When selecting an aggregate, the options for network size (in the dropdown mask) will be calculated automatically and shown using a new mechanism called dynamic mask handling.
For the MODS Regular Service:
- New Security Shape configuration option for PDBs via Create/Edit PDB: Security shapes revoke a set of package permissions (e.g. UTL_SMTP, UTL_TCP, etc.) from PUBLIC schema in Oracle that can be an issue from a security point of view.
For MS SQL Always-On:
- New Day 2 Action "On Demand SQL Restore (AO)": This new action enables customers to restore a database running in an Always On availability group.
For Managed OS:
- New property "Scc.Ms.TempAdminEnabledDate": This property stores the timestamp when entering into tempadmin-mode, which means you can track how long the VM is in tempadmin-mode.

Configuration of Customer Firewall in Edit Cluster Action: With the Customer Firewall extension you are now enabled to define an allow-list for IP ranges, protocols and modes on an individual cluster level.
Improvements on IP Usage visibility on Kubernetes Environment Level: To enable for transparency on the Kubernetes Environment level, we have introduced the IP usage visibility feature. With this feature it is now possible to see the detailed amount of IPs used through Clusters on a specific Kubernetes Environment.
Improvements on Load Balancer Usage visibility on Kubernetes Environment Level: Analogous to the IP usage feature it is now possible to see how many remaining Load Balancer are able to deploy with new Clusters.

Services
New Day 2 Action on Managed MS SQL Always On:
Run On Demand SQL Backup (AO): This action can be used to create On Demand backups of databases running on Always On Availability Groups.
Self-Service IPAM for XaaS Services:
Due to high customer demand, all XaaS services (Managed Oracle Database Services, File Services, Enterprise Kubernetes) are being integrated into the IP address management (IPAM) solution of the Enterprise Service Cloud. Upto now, the used IP addresses had to be specified per instance manually. IPAM integration brings the following benefits:
Reduced risk of causing any IP overlaps
Possibility to allocate sub-ranges to an individual service
Simplified overview of the used address space
New Blueprints
Under Catalog you will find the new blueprints in the Network Services category.
- Create Service Network: This blueprint creates an aggregate for a specific service (e.g delegate a /22 towards Enterprise Kubernetes).
- Delete Service Network
IPAM Migration of Existing Service Instances
In this release (v121), the functionality is only available for the Managed Oracle Database Services (MODS High End, MODS regular).
