How to Deploy a VM with an already used IP Address
⚠️ Warning: Warning: Please note that if all VMs associated with a Tufin Function are deleted, the Tufin Connection will be disrupted. Creating a new VM in the same function (group) will require manual rebuilding of the connections.

How to recycle an IP Address of a Managed RHEL VM to a new Swisscom RHEL Blueprint

| Prerequisite: Keep IP Address and hostname from a current active deployment write down the IP Address and hostname: | Preparation |
| Login to the tenant over the vRA portal write down the IP Address and hostname: { IP Address } { Hostname } | Select your VM and write down all the needed settings as: IP Address / hostname / network / location / tufin-group / business-group write down VM-Config: cpu/ram/location/network information ⚠️ Warning: Please ensure that at least one other Virtual Machine is in the same Tufin Function-Group to avoid, that all the Firewall Rules are being deleted. |
